My current emphasis is both on aesthetic
Implant Dentistry, particularly after significant bone loss due to Periodontal
Disease, as well as improving facial (labial) contours with intra-oral soft
tissue augmentation in conjunction with e.g. face lists etc.
Additionally - as part of a plastic surgery makeover - restoring the contours of the smile line with plastic periodontal surgery and restoring teeth with ceramic veneers.

Oct 78 to June 84: University Freiburg (Germany), Dental School. Graduation in July 84.
Nov 84: Doctoral Thesis accepted. (academic degree Dr. med. dent. awarded)
84- 85: Oral Surgery residency at Central Military Hospital Hamburg, Germany.
85-91: Head of Dental Center at Bremgarten Air Base, Germany.
86-91: Part time private practice with emphasis on Periodontics, Implant Dentistry, and Implant Prosthodontics.
91-93: Masters Program at IUSD (Indiana University School of Dentistry) in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, graduating in May 93.
Thesis: Animal study on growth factors and bone regeneration
May 95: Board Certification as "Diplomate of The American Board of Periodontology"
November 97: Assistant Professor at Universität Würzburg for postgraduate periodontics.
March 98: Assistant Professorship University Würzburg, Dept of Periodontics
Jan 99: Representative for Germany at the EFP (European Federation of Periodontics) evaluating / vetting Postgraduate Programmes in Periodontics within the EFP area.
March 99: Assistant Professor at Universität Münster for postgraduate periodontics.
July 99: 'Specialist der DGP' (German Periodontal Society)
