MMP8

MMP8 is an enzyme produced by the body wherever inflammation and consequently tissue destruction is present. MMP8 levels are significantly raised with periodontal disease but also with arthritis, coronary heart disease and many other inflammatory processes.

Many studies have shown that raised MMP8 levels predispose you to significantly higher risks of getting a heart attack, stroke and may adversely affect diabetes, pregnancies and arthritis.
